Autumn 2008 Newsletter
Morning Light Photography - Autumn 2008 Newsletter
Gold, red and orange aspen trees line the hillsides of Rocky Mountain National Park this week. This is a time of vibrant color and continuous change. One day it ss like summer and the next it snows. It is an exciting and an extremely beautiful time to be in Colorado and one of my favorite seasons to photograph. I've spent a lot of time in the mountains the last couple of weeks and have managed to get many new images such as those in this newsletter.
Biggest Sale of the Year!
The main reason I am sending out this newsletter is to let you know that next Saturday and Sunday, October 11th and 12th, we will be having our biggest sale of the year. This is the time when we clear out a lot of our old inventory to make room for lots of new images in the gallery. It is part of Estes Park's yearly sidewalk sale. If you are looking for a good deal, then you will want to be here as soon as we open on Saturday morning at 10:00am. Over half of the pieces on the wall in the gallery will be on sale at 40%-60% off. If it is anything like last year, pieces will be going out the door very quickly so be here early.
I've been very busy since I sent out the last newsletter in early July and have added about 100 new photos of Rocky Mountain National Park to my website. During the next couple of weeks I hope to add another 10-20 if the weather continues to cooperate. In September I added the 1,000th photo to my website, so if you haven't stopped by in a while, there are lots of new images to see. Visit this link to see my lastest photos (the newest images are always at the top.)
Photo Workshops and Guiding
This summer I began offering photography workshops. These have proved quite popular, allowing people to learn the fundamentals of landscape photography from beginning to end. I plan to continue offering these workshops throughout the year so if you enjoy capturing winter images and snowshoeing, let me know and I
