This was my first visit to Antelope Canyon. I've heard everyone talk about it and seen the photos. It is a place filled with varied texture and lighting creating a photographer's paradise. Although this sandstone is really all just one color the higher up in the canyon you look, the brighter it is and the further down you go the darker the stone is, creating these wonderful variations which add a painterly feel to everything. These sandstone waves particularly revealed these contrasts. |
