This panoramic image was taken on a hike up to an alpine lake between the village of Torridon and Kinlochewe in the highlands of Scotland. It was raining, snowing and blowing nearly the entire hike. This was taken during a brief lull and the sun briefly shown through on the distant peaks. The vastness and barrenness of the Scottish highlands was stunning and I wish I could have waited here for a couple of weeks to capture an image which truly did it justice. |
