| Title: | Iona Chapel Entrance | Location: | Iona, Scotland, United Kingdom |

| Camera: | Canon 5D | Notes: | The remote isle of Iona on the western end of Scotland holds special historical significance as well as current significance for the United Kingdom. It was from here that Saint Columba began the spread of Christianity in the UK and today there is a vibrant Christian community on this island which is encouraging the church in the UK to expand its vision on a variety of levels. This chapel is one of the oldest surviving buildings on the island and gives something of a reminder of this history. I liked the unique entrance and door which kept me busy for about 30 minutes. |
