| Camera: | Canon 5D Mark ii | Notes: | One of my favorite places in the UK is the Cornish Coast. Each time I visit I try to hike a new section and perhaps some day I will have hiked it all. One of the things I love the most is the way the gorse (yellow flowers) contrast with the amazingly blue ocean. It is always hard to believe even when you see it with your own eyes. This photo was taken on the western coast between St. Just and Pendeen. The buildings are abandoned tin mines that dot much of Cornwall and add a lot of interest to this already beautiful scene. These particular mines are associated with the Levant Mine and Beam Engine. |
